    • The most competitively priced blade ‘hands in’ dryer on the market
    • Low noise output 70-75 dB(A)
    • Two-level filter protection – a pre-filter protects a HEPA filter which is sterilised by UV lights acting on it at regular periods.

The Jet Force Junior is a genuinely powerful blade dryer which has a combined airspeed of 224 mph from the 2 compressed strips of air, the force of this airflow is enough to remove moisture from the hands between 12 – 15 seconds and deposit it safely in the water tank. It has a 2-level filter protection system ensuring clean air is blown over the hands, with a pre-filter protecting a HEPA filter. This HEPA filter is sterilised by UV lights acting on it at regular periods.

Low sound levels and low running costs are maintained with the ability to turn the motor speed high or low, and the heater element on or off. The dry time is not compromised by turning off the heat or reducing the motor level, as proven by our in-house testing. The videos of which can be seen on this page. The unit maintains energy efficiency by intelligently sensing the ambient temperature of the room and automatically activates the heater element (if switched on) when this temperature drops below 25C. This therefore stops excess energy being used when heat is not required, but adds comfort to the hands in colder environments when it is.

There are more energy efficient blade dryers but ultimately this is not a product for high traffic locations, so the marginal gains in efficiency will not be significant. Make no mistake this is a eco product that uses 75% less energy than conventional dryers. It costs 95% less than paper towels, so if you expect your hand dryer to be used less than 100 times a day and want a sleek, stylish and effective blade dryer with one of the fastest proven dry times, then the Jet Force Junior is a great option.

    Technical Description:

Dual concentrated jets of air flow from apertures on either side of the dryer provide a blade of airflow. Rated power of 1850W on maximum settings with the ability to reduce this to just 750W. 22,000rpm brushed motor produces airspeeds of 224MPH. Our strict testing has shown the dry times to be between 12 – 15 seconds. Enclosed switches activate the two speed motor and heater element. Intelligent heating system automatically activates heat to the airflow if the ambient temperature drops below 25C when the heater is switched on. This unit is quiet in operation with a level of 70-75dB. The air intake is filtered by a HEPA filter, which is initially protected by a pre-layer filter, maximising bacteria and particle collection. The HEPA filter surfaces are maintained sterile by UV-C led lights. The unit also has an easy to service drainage tank which collects the excess water from hand drying. Both the filter and drainage tank are easily accessible from the bottom of the dryer.

The manufacturer of the P3 Protect respirator has pledged to become Net Zero by 2030.
In order to calculate their carbon footprint measurements they use the SME Climate Hub: smeclimatehub.org/start-measuring/

They’re also graduates of the Climate Fit course, that helps SMEs reduce their carbon emissions and join the collective race to Net Zero.

They monitor their own Scope 3 emissions as part of their carbon reduction plan. This includes their downstream supply chain. For example, transport, storage and distribution. Product end of life’ (downstream) measurement depends upon the method and the extent to which this is mitigated by closed or open-loop recycling and other factors.

For ‘cradle-to-the grave’ carbon output, the factory is creating their own carbon reduction plan, including waste and everything else, to the point that a product leaves the factory gates.

As a Cop26 Hero of Net Zero award winner, they are constantly looking at ways to limit their carbon footprint and continue as far as possible, without reliance on offset.

Whatever emissions remain in the atmosphere are removed elsewhere.

The manufacturer has signed up to Gold Standard, which is considered the best in the world. They offset the remainder of their carbon through the purchase of Gold Standard-certified carbon credits into sustainable projects around the world: https://www.goldstandard.org
They don't have larger company statutory reporting requirements, so are entering into the NHS supply chain with Evergreen, the Sustainable Supplier Assessment. This self-assessment and reporting tool shares sustainability credentials. They are currently tier 1 of 4 and working towards reducing emissions further.

The sustainability narrative for manufacturing Net Zero PPE is underpinned by:

      • Sustainable design for manufacture, results in production and consumption patterns with the mantra "Reduce, Reuse, Recycle"
      • Reducing the amount of energy required to manufacture, use, clean and recycle products
      • Opting for renewable energy
      • Only using recyclable and/or reusable materials, including reusable and recyclable filters to limit material ending up in landfill

An IVD Medical Device is defined in the IVDR as “any medical device which is a reagent, reagent product, calibrator, control material, kit, instrument, apparatus, piece of equipment, software or system, whether used alone or in combination, intended by the manufacturer to be used in vitro for the examination of specimens derived from the human body.

In vitro diagnostics (IVDs) are tests that can detect disease, conditions and infections. In vitro simply means 'in glass', meaning these tests are typically conducted in test tubes, cassettes and similar equipment, as opposed to in vivo tests, which are conducted in the body itself.
